Gotu Kola is an herb known for helping to boost memory, anxiety and concentration.

In a double-blind, placebo-controlled study, researchers decided to put the herb to the test. In the study, 28 healthy, elderly people were given either a placebo or doses of 250mg, 500mg, or 750mg of gotu kola. The participants who received the gotu kola experienced significant improvement in reaction time and in accuracy of working memory, meaning the herb improved both the speed and the quality of their work.

Gotu Kola also improved their calmness and the 750mg dose produced significant improvement in alertness and attention.
