Sacha Inchi Rich In Omegas
Sachi inchi, also know as the “Inca nut”, is a plant native to the Amazon in South America and produces a unique seed that is rich in Omega-3, 6 and 9.
The plant was originally cultivated by the Incas in the region of Junin, one of the best areas to grow the plant. Sacha inchi oil is made from selected raw seeds and obtained by a cold press extraction; a filtration process is then used to eliminate impurities and achieve the final product.
The oil has a light colour and a pleaseant nutty flavor. The essential fatty acids contained in the oil are of superior quality and allow the body to easily convert them into DHA and EPA, fatty acids commonly found in fish.
Like other sources of Omega-3, sacha inchi oil is considered beneficial to reduce the risk of heart disease, stroke, cancer, depression and alzheimer’s disease. Omega-3 can also be used for a variety of other health problems, including to help ease rheumatoid arthritis, and assist in the control of diabetes, and digestive disorders.
