Ferrum Phosphoricum

Ferrum Phosphoricum – This remedy is iron phosphate and is a mineral compound of iron and phospherous, elements that are found in the body; iron aids the exchange of oxygen in the blood and phosphorous contributes to healthy bones and muscles. It is prepared by mixing solutions of iron sulfate, phosphate, and sodium acetate which is then ground with large quantities of lactose (milk sugar) to render it non-toxic.
Ferrum phosphoricum is used for such ailments as coughs, ear infections, rheumatic joints, anemia, fatigue, nosebleeds, sore throat and diarrhea.
